monday monday monday

today was a lot chillier than i had expected. i was going to wear a dress today, i'm glad i decided against it.
even though its already fall, im so happy its finally feeling like it.
autumn is my favorite season.
when its autumn, chilly, your layered up and feeling cozy and toasty, but your nose and cheeks are cold... thats one of my FAVORITE feelings.
i love taking walks especially in autumn.
and maybe a cup of hot tea. *sigh*

so today i wrote during my two breaks.

She stands in front of the mirror
Fixing her hair and make up.
Slips on her dress
And inspects it to make sure its ok.
The day
And the week unfolds.
The sun starts to shy away,
She grins in delight.
The leaves suddenly begin to fall.
Beautiful lucious greens as well as
vibrant yellows, oranges, reds and browns.
She steps outside for a second
And notices the scent of midnight's rainfall.
She slips the dress off
And cozies up in layers
And scarves and hats.
She prepares hot tea
As she stands in front of the mirror
Fixing her hair and make up.
She's falling in love with Autumn.

Eyes that sparkle like fireworks.
