lets talk POLITICS

so tonight i was writting my paper for english,

when my dad came home from studying. we started getting into politics somehow

(by a small comment, im sure)

anyway, he really got me thinking.

i've been all hands in the air for obama...

but now hes got me thinking otherwise.

NO... im not voting for obama BECAUSE hes black. or because hes NOT white or because hes NOT republican.
theres many reasons why i was planning to vote for him.

hes FOR roe vs. wade...

as a female... im for it. because the MAN shouldn't tell us what we want to do with our bodies.

he's FOR same sex rights...

im straight, but beleive every human being should be able to love another human being freely.

no matter who becomes president, we unfortunately won't be able to take our troops out of there safely for a few more years.
i don't beleive MORE government is the correct way to go.
and lowering taxes, means more money in our pockets. which is good because we can indulge more and therefore create more jobs in service industries.

i need to look at who WILL more possitivly affect my life today, but more importantly for the FUTURE.

medicine shouldn't be socialized. it sounds like a euphoric concept, that is, until you really disect it. i personally don't want to socialize medicine since i'll be in the health care industry. it'll be taking money out of my pocket to serve those who do NOT want help... their only concern is where to get their next fix or not caring out their health risks.
yes, health care IS expensive. i should know. i've lived 21 years without health care... i just recently got health care and i'm very greatful that i have it.

there's SO SO SO SO SO much more than that to think about.
if you wanna debate me on either which way.
please do so.

and persue me.

cuz im boggling my mind.

im not 18 and "VOTING FOR THE FIRST TIME"

im 22, and i know better.

so, lets talk politics.
